Mini-Biography
Hi, I'm Vincint Zangari. I am originally from the Boston, Massachusetts area, but live in the Phoenix, Arizona area now. I have worked in IT for over 25 years, and have constantly strived to better myself. To that extent, I have been attending SNHU since January of 2022, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and where I am currently working on my Master of Science in Information Technology.
Personal Interests
Outside of my Professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, researching my family's genealogy, reading, watching movies (and obscurely referencing and quoting them), and learning about space, science, and astrophysics. These activities help me maintain a balanced perspective and often inspire creative solutions in my technical work.
Professional Background
I'm an IT Professional with a passion for technology and problem-solving. My career has focused on IT in Telecom, Banking and Finance, Healthcare IT, and is now focused on creating tools to assist with Network Security and Operational Development. I have expertise in many fields of IT, and I hold both industry standard and non-industry standard certifications.
My Professional Journey has included roles such as being a Domain and Network Admin at a Pediatric Dental company, a Team Lead and Trainer in a NOC / SOC environment, and my own MSP company that I ran for over 17 years, and which serviced over 50 clients.

- Architecting and Engineering ITSM systems, SIEM / SOAR / XDR / EDR systems, Elastic Stack (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana, NGINX, and Apache Server) systems, and ITIL compliant systems for internal and external customers.
- Providing Systems Administration and Support to Clients on Windows (Windows 10 / 11 and Windows Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2021) and Linux-based systems (Red Hat / RHEL Servers, Ubuntu Server, and Parrot Security OS), as well as Creation and Administration of Linux Servers in Oracle Cloud (OCI).
- Operational Incident Management triage and support (OPSEC); Reviewing system and application logs and executing necessary measures to counteract potential threats.
