Technical Writing

Experience & Industries

Beyond individual projects, my career has spanned a wide range of industries and operational environments. The focus has consistently been on building reliable systems, improving security posture, and delivering measurable operational outcomes — whether supporting regulated healthcare clinics, financial institutions, multi-national enterprise clients, or building platforms from the ground up.

Industries

  • Banking & Finance (domain/network administration, regulated environments)
  • Healthcare & Dental (HIPAA/HCRA-compliant multi-site operations)
  • Telecom & Enterprise Managed Services
  • NOC / SOC operations and incident response
  • Aviation, litigation support, real estate, and SMB environments
  • Higher education / non-profit campus IT

Capabilities Highlighted Across Roles

  • Security architecture (SIEM/SOAR/XDR/EDR, Elastic Stack, IAM/OIM)
  • Large-scale endpoint imaging & automation (MECM/SCCM, PXE, MDT)
  • Windows Server & Linux administration, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • ITSM platform design and ITIL-aligned process implementation
  • Technical writing & compliance documentation (ITAR, HIPAA, SOPs, engineering manuals)
  • Level 3 escalation leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional delivery

How this shows up in practice

In healthcare, that meant running hybrid remote/onsite IT for dozens of clinics while maintaining compliance and high availability. In enterprise and NOC/SOC settings, it meant architecting monitoring and response platforms, writing the documentation that kept global teams aligned, and handling active incident triage. As an independent MSP, it meant owning the full stack for diverse clients — from imaging and networking to specialized industry applications. More recently, it has meant building Cynipol Systems as a unified operations platform and contributing independent security research back to the broader community.

The through-line is the same: understand the operational reality, design for reliability and security, automate what should be automated, and leave behind systems and documentation that others can run with confidence.
